## Key facts

- **Shipped templates:** 10 (budget 4, status 4, naming 1, monitoring 1)
- **Level of every template:** campaign
- **Metrics the templates use:** 3 (Purchase ROAS, Spend and Daily Budget)
- **Clicks to import:** 2 (Preview, then Import)
- **Currency in the shipped values:** Indonesian Rupiah

AdOps ships ten rule templates. Each is a named set of ready-made tasks — action, action frequency, action values and conditions — that you import into a rule and then edit. They cover four categories: budget, status, naming and monitoring. Every shipped template is written at campaign level and uses only three metrics: Purchase ROAS, Spend and Daily Budget.

## Where are the templates?

Press **Templates** in the **Tasks & Conditions** toolbar of the rule builder. The modal shows a card per template with its icon, name, description, task count, category and a popularity badge, filtered by the pills **All**, **Budget**, **Status**, **Naming** and **Monitoring**.

**Preview** opens the template's goal and every task it contains — action, frequency, values and conditions. **Import** drops those tasks into the rule you are editing. The footnote is worth believing: values are defaults, and you can edit after importing. If a category has nothing in it the modal reads "No templates found for this category".

## The ten templates

| # | Template | Category | Popularity | What it imports |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | Scale Profitable Campaigns | budget | high | Increase budget by Rp 100,000, at most once every 2 hours, when today's Purchase ROAS is above 3, today's spend is above 0 and Daily Budget is below Rp 1,000,000 |
| 2 | Pause Unprofitable Campaigns | status | high | Pause when today's spend has reached Rp 200,000 and today's Purchase ROAS is below 2 |
| 3 | Tiered Budget Scaling | budget | medium | Three increase-budget tasks — Rp 50,000 above ROAS 3, Rp 100,000 above ROAS 5, Rp 200,000 above ROAS 8 — each once every 2 hours and each also requiring spend above 0 |
| 4 | Night Budget Reset | budget | medium | Decrease budget by 50% on any campaign with spend above 0 today |
| 5 | Tag Campaign Performance | naming | medium | Add `#adops` to the campaign name in TEXT mode, for campaigns with spend above 0 today |
| 6 | Pause + Tag Failed | status | medium | Two tasks — pause, and replace text in the name with `stop_` — both when today's spend is above Rp 200,000 and Purchase ROAS is below 1.5 |
| 7 | Re-enable Paused Winners | status | low | Start the campaign when Purchase ROAS over the last 3 days is above 3 |
| 8 | Budget Cap Protection | budget | low | Set budget to Rp 500,000 when today's spend passes Rp 400,000 |
| 9 | Performance Monitor | monitoring | high | Notify, at most once a day, when today's spend is above Rp 500,000 and Purchase ROAS is below 2 |
| 10 | Stop & Label Campaign | status | low | Two tasks — pause, and add `stop_` to the name — for any campaign with spend above 0 today |

## When to reach for each one

**Start here.** *Performance Monitor* changes nothing on Meta, so it is the safe way to test your thresholds against a live account. Run it for a few days and read the log before you let anything pause or scale.

**Scaling.** *Scale Profitable Campaigns* is the single-step version: one threshold, one increment, and a Daily Budget condition that stops the rule once the budget reaches Rp 1,000,000. *Tiered Budget Scaling* is the same idea in three brackets, so a campaign at ROAS 8 grows faster than one at ROAS 3. Use the tiered version when your account has a wide spread of performance; use the single-step version when it does not.

**Cutting losses.** *Pause Unprofitable Campaigns* is the plain kill switch. *Pause + Tag Failed* does the same job and marks the campaign name with `stop_` so you can find every automated stop in Ads Manager without opening AdOps. *Stop & Label Campaign* is the blunt version — it pauses anything that has spent today — so treat it as a manual emergency brake rather than something to leave live.

**Recovering.** *Re-enable Paused Winners* reads Purchase ROAS over the last 3 days rather than today, which is deliberate: a campaign you paused yesterday has little of today to be judged on.

**Housekeeping.** *Tag Campaign Performance* stamps `#adops` onto names so you can filter for automated campaigns. *Night Budget Reset* halves the daily budget, and is designed to pair with a morning scale-up rule.

## Two things to change after importing

First, the thresholds are Rupiah amounts written for Indonesian budgets. Rp 200,000 is a meaningful daily spend for one account and noise for another — reset every number against your own account before going live.

Second, *Night Budget Reset* ships with only a spend condition. Add Time greater than and Time less than conditions, or schedule the rule on the weekly timetable, so it can only act in the evening. Without that, it halves budgets on every run.
