How does Daily budget work inside AdOps?
Daily Budget (`daily_budget`) is one of the 45 AdOps rule metrics and one of the 6 that are point-in-time, so it carries no reporting period. It is read with a dedicated Graph object call, and all three budget actions re-read the live value before writing a new one.
Sample data A daily budget is the average a campaign is allowed to spend per day, which Meta paces across the week rather than capping each day exactly. AdOps treats it as both a metric and a target: Daily Budget can be read in a condition, and Increase budget, Decrease budget and Set budget write a new value to it.
How does AdOps calculate a new daily budget?
A percentage change is applied to the campaign’s current value. A campaign at Rp 2,400,000 a day with a 25% Increase budget action becomes Rp 3,000,000. A fixed amount replaces or adjusts by a stated figure instead, and Set budget can also take its number from a custom metric resolved from a Google Sheet.
Why does AdOps re-read the budget before writing?
Because the figure may have moved since the rule last evaluated. All three budget actions re-read the live daily budget from Meta immediately before they write, so a percentage increase compounds from the current value rather than from a stale one captured earlier in the run.
Can a condition read the daily budget itself?
Yes. Daily Budget is a rule metric, fetched through its own Graph object call rather than through the Insights batch, and it is point-in-time, so it takes no reporting period. Daily Budget, Spend and Purchase ROAS are the three metric keys the ten shipped rule templates are built from.
